I'm surprised this place is rated four stars. Three is already a bit of a stretch. My colleague and I stopped by on a Friday after work. The service wasn't especially friendly. The entrees don't come with much rice. My Yu Shan beef was decent, if a little bland. The portion was a bit light for $11. My friend's kung pao chicken also was not as flavorful as we had hoped. An ok meal but I probably won't be back.

My wife and I have been going to this restaurant for several years and always had good Chinese and Korean. On our last visit two weeks ago she noticed a hair in her chow mein. We contacted the waitress and she brought the cook. They apologized but basically made no offer to replace the food or take cost off our bill. Probably will not be back.

Delicious Mother's Day buffet today! Glad we were able to come. We thought it would be a long wait as there was a long line and lots of reservations, but the wait was it long at all. The buffet is a little spendy but worth every penny! They had lots of choices and even fruit and salad to add to your dinner. The food tasted fresh and delicious!

If I had never traveled out of great falls this would get 5 stars. But that's not the case, so I'll give them 4. I came her for bibimbap but they don't have it apparently. So I had bulgogi instead. Although I was disappointed, It was tender and sweet. I was sharing with my 4 year old so I opted for no spices but that would have been great! Orange chicken was super good. Big pieces of crunchy chicken in a sweet and spicy sauce. Fried dumplings were so delish. Also, egg drop soup was a good balance and not too gelatinous like most.

Everything was pretty good. I've had better from my home state but this place was ok compared to others places that have disappointed me here in Montana. Service was friendly.

84.00 dollars spent and to be honest I feel so guilty I cheated on Umami but it was my birthday and when I went to Umami the sushi chef was out of town and they were going to be closing in less than an hour and me and the crew didnt want to be rushed. Why why why Im so mad at myself I wasted my money at Maple Garden I don't understand why other reviewers rave about this place its truly not that. Kimchi was good and the vegetable egg foo young the bbq pork fried rice were the only things I liked. Almond fried chicken would have been better if the gravy had any flavor was totally flavorless, the shrimp roll appetizers were not that tasty was supposed to be wrapped in bacon but I guess they were out. Kung pao chicken what a mess no one even touched but one bite we left the whole plate there Just trust me on this one dont even bother to go here just go to Umami what a waste of money I just did at maple garden so mad at myself umami just stay open later on week ends

Everything from the appetizer to the General's chicken was top notch. Nothing tasted prepared. The hot and sour soup was like no other I have tasted, chunks of fresh veggies, and meat topped it off. I have never seen nor tasted General's chicken like this, the sauce was clear and reduced to perfection, not sticky and clumping into a mass. We will be visiting again and often.

I love this place. Great kimchee, good Korean food, good Asian food, good food all around and their Mother's Day Buffet should NEVER be missed.

Korean owned Maple Garden is pretty much standard when it comes to your basic Chinese food. I really wish they would be a little more aggressive an add more Korean dishes to their menu. I only visited once and my guest and I ordered only appetizers. They were mediocre but tasty. Then came the kimchi. WOW! This is the best kimchi I have eaten since I last visited Korea. It was crisp, flavorful and, best of all, homemade. Kimchi has a bad rap. It is not some over-spiced, garlic saturated, rotten cabbage dish. It is a delicious, very healthful, addition to a meal. Even the most timid will like this. Those folks know how to do it right. The service was warm and efficient and I would go back for lunch or dinner just to have more of that wonderful kimchi. I hope they are around for a long, long time. Great Falls needs more diversity like that in their restaurants.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
